Amador Valley CA junior John Lester won the boys 800 meters in 1:48.26 at the Desert Dream - Last Hurrah at Poston Butte High in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Lester improved to the No. 2 junior in California history and fifth all-time, including the fastest mark by anyone in the state since 2010.
